if ($page == "client") {
if ($bbusername != "") {
$num = $bbusername ;
if ($bbusername == "") {
$filename = "chat_count.txt";
$contents = file($filename);
$length = strlen($contents);
$number = 0;
$count = 0;
$num = $guestnick.$length ;
$handle= fopen($filename,'a+');
$string = "+";
fputs($handle, $string);
but am wondering how to inport that to the script its self
and redo that whole html file to php

Im not entirley sure what you are trying to achive? I run the jIRC applet as well and I have to get the poster, registered or not, to enter his/her nickname into the client before they conenct.

So either, your trying to get it to grab the username and make jIRC connect automatically with that as the IRC nickname

You want to keep track of how many people are conencting though your IRC applet and show it in a "whosonline" fashion.
