Downloaded Mods Notifications

Since around one week or maybe two or something like that I receive downloaded modification notifications yet I have in my user control panel "Download Notifications" Disabled as well I have no subscribed threads. So, what's up? Some kind of error?

That setting (Download Notifications) is not referring to update notifications from release threads.
Its refers to the monthly notification of modifications you have downloaded, but not marked as installed.

(They are sent on the 15th of each month).

When an update is sent via the send update system it should only be for a new version of the mod.

A critical part of forum security is to make sure you always run the latest version of a modification. Older versions can have security exploits. (New ones can too but they are less likely to be known).

If you see a developer abusing the system- sending updates when there was nothing real to update, PM myself or another staff member and we will look into it- the update system should never be used to spam.
