Question Need help with the "Retrieve remote file..." function on the Insert Image icon

Hi guys,

Is there a way to get rid BY DEFAULT of the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" ???

That is the slowest thing ever and I personaly know what to do (unclick), however my members just keep asking why is the insert image icon so painful and slow now with the new version, so I found that if I untick the Retrieve function the pic will just post like super mega fast, a charm.

Is there a way to get rid of that function?.

Thanks in advance.

Have you thought about just editing the template and making it a hidden input and setting the value to what you want ? TEmplate - editor_upload_overlay

If I post some CSS and don't say where it goes, put it in the additional.css template.
