Question about Moderating member's posts
I understand to have a member's post moderated you have to have a user group set up to where you check off for the posts to be moderated and that the member(s) that you want moderated have to be in that user group.
Is there another way that a member could have their posts moderated ? TIA No members have liked this post.

If you have Akismet or Typepad enabled in AdminCP > Settings > Options > Spam Management, then that could moderate the posts also.

Try a search before posting for help. Many users won't, and don't, help if the question has been answered several times before. W3Schools - Online vBulletin Manual If I post some CSS and don't say where it goes, put it in the additional.css template. I will NOT help via PM (you will be directed to post in the forums for help.) No members have liked this post.

Thanks, went into spam management but found I could only choose between Akismet or Typepad.
Would not make all member's posts moderated ? or can you choose what member to have their posts moderated. How does that work ? Is there any other way ? Thanks again No members have liked this post.

It will moderate all the members who meet the criteria of the settings below on that page.
There is no other way to only moderate a certain user's posts, or a certain few specific user's posts except to put them in their own usergroup and moderate that usergroup.

Is there a way were where you can set *new* member's posts to be moderated until they reach a set number of posts ? If so do they have to be in a usergroup where posts are selected to be moderatated ?
Also is there a difference between vbulletin 3 and 4 for setting up members to be moderated . ? TIA No members have liked this post.

If you want a user's posts to be moderated, the MUST be in a usergroup where posts are moderated. You may then set up a promotion where after xxx posts, they get moved to another usergroup where posts are not moderated.
