Description: ======================================== Liked content is usually more interested to the user to read. The current likes-counter really easy to miss, you don't give much attention to a little button in the corner. So I've build this little enhancement. It will add a summary line under each message and mention briefly how many liked the post. A lot friendlier. ----- If you installed this mod and/or you want to get support, please "Mark as Installed". ----- ======================================== Compatibility: ======================================== This mod only tested in vB5.1.1, which is as of today the latest stable version. Installing this mod on a previous version could work, but it's not recommended and not supported. Generally this should be working fine in all 5.1.X versions. ======================================== Notes: ======================================== There are currently few limitations that I thought to mention before I'll start getting "bugs" reports about them: 1. If you just liked a post, you'll need to refresh to see the change in the line, it doesn't updates immediately by ajax. 2. If you edit a message and saves it, the summary line will disappear from the message until a refresh. 3. Summary line only available in "thread view". If you'll go to "stream view" you won't see it. I may fix these things in the future.. ======================================== How to install: ======================================== 1. Upload the content of 'upload_to_root' directory to your root. 2. Make sure that Plugin/Hook System is enabled, it is disabled by default. 3. Reload your site (twice) - this mod uses the Auto-Install feature. Auto-Install it's a feature that allows vB5 to install addons automatically when all files uploaded. There is no need to install xml manually. IF YOU FOLLOWED THE STEPS BUT THE MOD STILL NOT INSTALLED, TRY MANUAL INSTALLATION BY DOING THE STEPS BELOW. ======================================== How to upgrade and how to install manually ======================================== 1. Upload the content of 'upload_to_root' directory to your root 2. Find the file "product_rellectlikessummary.xml" in /upload_to_root/core/packages/rellectlikessummary/xml 3. Go to Import Product in the admincp 4. Is this for adding the banner at the bottom to show who liked it, or is it the actual like thing which includes the banner on the post?
Is there a version for vB4 because this looks good? No members have liked this post.

So I've build this little enhancement. It will add a summary line under each message and mention briefly how many liked the post.
A lot friendlier. There is no default like system in vB4, so this would not work at all. You would need a different mod like this, http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=242733 No members have liked this post.

Just downloaded this for 5.1.3 Alpha 6 and had to import the XML manually for it to work.

I had to put the full directory for the install i.e.
My forum is located at: Apexonlineracing.com/forum/ I had to enter the following in the URL for the install script: ./forum/core/packages/rellectlikessummary/product_rellectlikessummary.xml Worked perfectly on vB 5.1.2 and vB 5.1.3 Great mod, thanks for this Refael. No members have liked this post.

Love this but just had to disable it. When it was enabled, we couldn't view profiles - you'd get an error that said "An internal error has occurred and the module cannot be displayed". Too bad - I'd like to use it.
