Hello,
I just need your guidance on how to do things, I will manage myself. How should we plan our upgrade ? Should we upgrade to vb 4.x first and then install dbseo or vice-versa ? Require following things setup on new vb 4.x: Import of Zoints tags manager from vb 3.x to 4.x Sitemaps We are running our fourms on vb 3.6.x and require to upgrade to vb 4.x latest. We have vbseo installed on 3.x and need to upgrade to dbseo. Thanks. No members have liked this post.

The DBSEO PRO version has an vBSEO importer and you can directly import your rewrite tools.
Even if you use their lite version, you can easily customize the rules in the lite version to match what you have currently set in vBseo.

I would suggest installing DBSEO first and then upgrade to vB4, because vBSEO is not supported by higher php versions and can cause issues during the upgrade process.
Sitemaps are straightforward, you can easily setup in admincp and submit to search engines. Zoints tag manager does not have a vB4 version. I am not sure of any other alternatives.

In that case, upgrade to 3.8.x first, install DBSEO and then upgrade to 4.2.5
OR, directly upgrade to vB4 on PHP 5.x, and change PHP version at the end, when everything is correctly configured.

With the latest search engine algorithms there's really no need for SEO programs anyway. In fact, search engines now penalize for some of the techniques that SEO programs used only a few years ago, like keyword stuffing. And they now ignore meta tags entirely. No members have liked this post.

Thank You again for your quick reply Omnibus, appreciated.
Can you please guide us through this one important addon which we are stuck. We have lots of tags made using Zoints Tags Manager (closed now) and we require those importantly to be exported to Vbulletin Tagging System. Came across this addon: https://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=170314 Can you guide if this shall work for us ? as above thread is closed. and developers last activity is from 07 Jul 2016. There was a great addon for 4.x but it seems to be removed now.. Kindly check and help if you can. Require following things setup on new vb 4.x: Import of Zoints tags manager from vb 3.x to 4.x No members have liked this post.
