Hi all just a quick one, well I hope.
I am using vb 5.x.x and I am having issues with the html in posts/threads
when I view things as the site owner it all looks great
but
if I login as a normal user none of the HTML shows up
I have looked at a few setting and had a mess about with the user group setting but dont seem to be getting anywhere.
can anyone please help.
i.e an image that show in a tread in post displays fine as site manager.

but as a user or even an admin it doesnt show up the html

It looks like a permission issue. Do users in Registered Users usergroup have "Can Download Image Attachments" permission?

yes this is enabled
even if I change a user to admin they still seem to be having the problem

Ok just a little update.
When i originaly post i add the image and click the thumbnail that is attached and copy the image url.
And add that to the code.
When i post this it works fine for my user only.
When i go back into the post if i click the tumbnail and copy the url it had a different number on the end.
If I edit the post and add this url.
Everything works on both users :-)
Now I have about 400 post that i will have to reedit.
Is there any way around this.
