Add Pre-defined taglist to showthread page
![]() Developer Last Online: Dec 2020 ![]() ![]() ![]()
Sometimes you want your users to add tags from a predefined list and this mod will add a list of predefined tags to the bottom of the page for your users to choose from.
Version History: 1.0 2009-11-15: - initial release by Lynne at vbulletin.org Notes: - Don't add in common words that will give errors if the users try to add them. - If you don't allow users to add new tags, then make sure all the tags have already been added - I have no idea if this will work with non-english characters - you are on your own with that. - I wrote this for my own site where I don't use any special characters in the tags, like ' or ". Those won't work if you add them to the tag list and I won't be fixing that since I don't need it to worry about that. - It works just as I want it to for me, so it's unlikely I will be modifying it or adding to it. Version History: 1.0 2009-09-13: - initial release by Lynne at vbulletin.org To install: 1. Import product-lynne_add_tags.xml 2. Go to Settings > Options > Tagging Options > Predefined Tags List and add your words into that list. See the notes above prior to adding any. To uninstall: 1. Uninstall "Add Predefined Tags (vB4)" Download Now Only licensed members can download files, Click Here for more information. Screenshots Show Your Support

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to add predefined tags on a forum to forum basis (Making it so each forum could have its own predefined list, so they won't carry over to non-related forums).

Not the way it is currently set up. You could easily modify it to do so though by just defining the array of terms within the plugin and just using a condition - if forumid x, then use this array, else use that array.

Just in case you'll want to spend some time on this mod ...
![]() It would be beautiful if this mod could work in "new thread" as well. No members have liked this post.

The list only appears once the thread is posted which by then its too late members have submitted their own, sometimes wrongly spelt tags Is there any way to make the predefined tag list show up when posting a new thread therefore allowing members to select tags from the list before submitting the thread No members have liked this post.
