vBSSO - vBulletin Single Sign-On
![]() Developer Last Online: Apr 2019 ![]() ![]() ![]()
vBSSO is a vBulletin plugin that helps you connect to different software platforms like content management systems, blogs, and online stores using a secure Single Sign-On
The system has two components. First, there’s a vBulletin plugin that creates an interface for authenticating, controlling access, and managing user profile data. The second component is plugins for other platforms (like WordPress) that teach it to talk to vBulletin and exchange data. Here’s a list of support platforms. Do you plan to add more integration functions, like showing vbulletin avatar in other software & linking to vbulletin profile in other software?

Currently vBSSO provides a way to synchronize only the entities required for single sign-on. If you would like to synchronize other entities like posts, etc, you are welcome to submit a feature request on vBSSO website.

Not really a bridge in terms of the bridge originally. That's like an single sign-on standard provided on vBulletin side, where 3rd party is able to implement vBSSO API to connect your platform like well known WordPress or your own website developed using custom technologies on your own.
