Step by step Tutorial upgrading VB 4.2.5 to 5.6?
Does anyone has a step by step how to upgrade forum from VB 4.2.5 To VB 5.6?
All i find are very slim. I have not many expierence and my english is that good, zo step by step has to be it for me. Hope someone can help me. Regards No members have liked this post.

Ok, doing this.
However it is not clear to me. do i use my old board as test? Or do i have to install a fresh vb 4.2.5 and then upgrade? Backed up my database, and made a new one ande imported. Adjusted vb5 config.php with new database info --------------- Added 17 Dec 2020 at 08:24 --------------- Got it to work. Just database and upgrade No members have liked this post.
