Made quite some progress on this but it's not ready for testing yet, but shouldn't take much longer.
Glad to see a lot of people are willing to test this.

Not sure about that, it's more of a BBCode issue than it being a problem with the WYSIWYG editor.
Since you don't really want people posting HTML code, you'd have to somehow implement BBCode that makes that kind of thing possible.

Just an update: a little bit busy this week but I definitely expect to have a test version ready around Christmas.

Yes, currently working on migrating the vBulletin plugins and making the WYSIWYG editor work with vBulletin's libraries.

fwiw flow text should be able to be accomplished by using tables(works for vb5)....its not the most elegant solution but it kinda works...for example, 2 column, 1 row...image in one, text in the other

I have to implement a couple more things: custom BBCode functionality, server interaction when switching between source/WYSIWYG and vBulletin's plugins (such as smileys, attachment, etc.)

Most of it will be a matter of porting over the existing code to work with CKEditor 4.

Cool Dave, I like this.

We should have more people like Dave in vB team

I would give it a check when you done.

Cheers,

I have, unfortunately I do not have any time at the moment to make a public testing version. I'd say a couple more days are left of working on it but that does not include fixing any bugs and making sure it works across all browsers.

All in all, quite some work is left to do.
