Make thread content appear as default text in form

Hi

This is what I am trying to do.

1) User pushes button
2) Button creates message area, rather than seeing a blank area they get the content of the thread (which can be edited) - this would be rather like an enhancement of the quote functionality but to include the whole thread rather than one post
3) Click button and the message is pm'd to the users own account (easy bit)

The bit I'm struggling with is getting the content from the thread into the wysiwig editor. I wonder if there is already a hack that does this.

All help appreciated,
Stephen

I have not seen a hack that does this. Basically it is like doing a Multi-Quote for all messages in the thread. Maybe you can look into a button that automatically does multi-select on all the posts and then puts them into the Reply box.

If I post some CSS and don't say where it goes, put it in the additional.css template.
I will NOT help via PM (you will be directed to post in the forums for help.)
