my favicon

for some reason my favicon won't work.

here is what I did:

I made an icon
I converted it to an .ico file
I went to my ftps and went "public_html>forums>dragged in and replaced"

Then I wait wait wait wait and it doesn't work (I have waited over 3 weeks). Today, I then redownloaded it back on my comp desktop (I was using filezilla). When I clicked on it, it was my old icon. I re-uploaded it. Happened again. Old icon. I tried to search for the other one and delete it, there was only one..

what should I do?

Put one icon in public_html folder too. That worked for my forum.

Make sure that is in the www.myspace.com/forums folder. This is where you forums will reference for a favicon. Also make sure that it is the correct size for a favicon.

I tried to add a favicon too. It didn't work, so I did what Seven Skins said to do and put it in the Public_html folder too and that worked.

Thank you Seven Skins
