looked and cant see anything that will do the job

any leads on a decent plugin or way to detect multiple accounts in VB4?

I use this plugin http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=282525 and http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=199077 which work pretty well. The second plugin I linked is originally for vBulletin 3 but installation and functionality works fine on my vBulletin 4 forum.

Like Dave, I am currently running;

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=282525 on 4.2.3 without issue. I could not get the other one in his link to work correctly so I gave up!

The ignored GROUP option (Admin #6) seems to work well, however all other groups get;

Did you upload the required files for this plugin? http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=199077
You should upload the madp folder to the root of your forum.

sadly i have both of these installed so my goose is cooked so to speak...

Known Issues
- vB Optimise users: Reporting via thread seems to get messed up by vB Optimise, so try reporting via PM instead.
- PhotoPost vBGallery users: The registration handling appears to not work properly when PhotoPost vBGallery is enabled.

I did Dave and re-installed them. Still have the same error message in 4.2.3

I have reinstalled the files manually and I can confirm both these plugins are now working on my 4.2.3
