Creating More Around Adsense Ad
As the title mentions...can someone please explain which file I edit & what code I should specifically edit to create more space around the Adsense advertisement indicated by the red arrows (screenshot below)
I think this Adsense ad is too close to "clickable" forum content...and I may be getting "dinged"(penalized) by Adsense for it. By the way...this ad is on my forums homepage if it helps. Thank you. ![]() No members have liked this post.

Well lets see, you can always use <br> tags, you could use a <hr> tag or you could surround it in paragraph tags. Browsers automatically add some space (margin) before and after each <p> element. The margins can be modified with CSS (with the margin properties).

Wherever you put the adsense ad, which I imagine you did via the ad manager, add the tags there, right before or after the ad code.
Either way, don't edit the files directly, use the tools built into the admincp for that to edit your templates/stylevars & ads. No members have liked this post.
