Not a blockbuster by any means. Just a simple (yet effective) little link, makes it easy to find the new posts in that particular forum. (If there are NO new posts in a forum, the text link on forumhome says "old" instead.)

In FORUMDISPLAY template, find:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Replace with:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

In forumhome_forumbit_level1_post template, find:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Replace with:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

...done.

Doesn't work, how? Does the link not show up at all? Or does clicking it not result in showing that forum's new posts?

Sorry for being so vague. No it does not appear at all. I have VB 3.6.5 checked the edit multiple times still not displaying.

I suspect it's an issue with your unique skin. Can you try in another skin, like the vBulletin default, just to confirm? By no means am I an advanced coder... but this is a real simple one, and it works for me with two skins.

rjmjr69, you are doing something wrong. I checked whether there's something wrong in the codes or not, but there is nothing wrong.

Congratulations and thanks Tralala.

For starters, you didn't add the code to the FORUMDISPLAY template.

(I searched for "search.php?do=getnew&include=$foruminfo[forumid]" -- the important bit -- and found nothing.

You have a heavily modified skin, so with mods like this you'll often have to figure things out on your own. In your case, at least for FORUMDISPLAY, find:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

and replace it with:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.
