This Plugin displays a notice if a user tries to bump a thread which is $n months old (specified in AdminCP).
The thread age is calculated from the last posting inside a thread. Important is, that this won't prevent the user to post a new posting inside an old thread, because sometimes it is useful to be able to push old threads. However, the user will have to confirm a notice text before being able to post a reply. Additionally, Quick reply boxes will be disabled inside old threads by default. The Message is fully customizable from the phrases section, it uses the phrase-name "abot_explain" The notice uses its own template (SHOWTHREAD_ERROR_ANTIBUMP) for additional customization. ![]() INSTALL Just a product xml file, no additional files. Download the attached xml file, navigate inside your AdminCP to Addons/Plugins, choose import new Addon, upload the xml file and that's all! In the standard vBulletin Settings, you'll find 2 plugin settings which should be self-explanatory. Download Now Only licensed members can download files, Click Here for more information. Excellent! Thank you. Just one question please. Is it compatible with vb 4.1.3?

Hi
It *should*, I will change the version requirement to 4.x.x. However it has been developed on 4.1.4, therefore anything below is not 100% approved, but the changes aren't very grave that there might be any kind of error or strange behaviour to expect. No members have liked this post.

not installing
I'm using vBulletin 4.1.12 Patch Level 1
Trying to install as per your instructions, however, I get the message: "This file appears to be a Product, not a Plugin. Please use Manage Products to add this file." So, I imported the xml file as a product, but it doesn't show anywhere in Admin Control Panel>Options and no "abot_explain" in Phrase Manager. Thanks in advance for your help.
