I noticed the forum blocks templates weren't being cached on the AS so I updated this to version 1.1 to force the caching.

No, 4.2.0+ as it says in the title. There is no activity stream in 4.1.12.

"minversion" means "Minimum Version" so it says 4.2.0 Alpha is the Minimum version.

4.2.0 is greater than 4.1.12 because 2 is greater than 1. The 12 doesn't matter in this case.
