Re: Right (or left) side bar on forumhome

I receive this error after trying to get the right menu to work:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/rcnitro/public_html/forum/index.php(420) : eval()'d code on line 143

which one you install on your board? right or left one?
make sure to check carefully whether your code is placed properly in those <if>...</if> conditions.

Re: Right (or left) side bar on forumhome

I ran into a little problem that might also happen to other people

For some people the tables sizes in thread may be changed, so to fix this if you can't figure it out.

First Take this out of the bottom of the navbar Template

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Then edit the FORUMHOME Template and find

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Under That Add

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

because it is in FORUMHOME now the mod will only edit the index and not any other pages.

Edit: And yet I got another thing you can change to make the homepage better. :P

when you install this mod at the bottom of the forum home you will notice that the "Current Active Users" table and all other tables below that have been resized. And if you are like me you want them to strech the hole way. So heres what you do.

In the FORUMHOME temple Find

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

And Above that add the tables for the sidebar

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Re: Right (or left) side bar on forumhome

Your fix is for right side bar, ain't it? well, I tested on my test board in both IE & Firefox browsers and didn't see any difference for where you put those HTML tags, but yeah i put all those tags in forumhome for the the left side bar. thanks for pointing it out those.

Re: Right (or left) side bar on forumhome

Yea, they are for left side bar, but you'd have to be stupid not to know how to use then for left :/

The second was a little fix, because some people like the forums to look a certain way. Like my usersonline at the bottom were changed to be the same size as all the forum content for the index, but with the code moved it alows the usersonline thing to strech all the way across.

You should post this hack on vB.org, alot of people are requesting it.
